Terms of Service

Sanban (the "Service") provides bill-splitting calculations and displays payment details (transfer URLs, bank account information, etc.) that members enter so others in the group can view them. Transfers are executed directly through external money-transfer or payment services chosen by the user; the Service itself neither moves funds nor generates payment links.

The following are prohibited: (a) illegal acts or acts contrary to public order and morals, (b) spam / mass automated creation, (c) impersonation, (d) interfering with Service operations.

The Service is provided as-is. We bear no responsibility for damages caused by exchange rate fluctuations, outages of external transfer or payment-receipt services, or temporary suspensions of the Service.

The Service does not verify the authenticity of payment information entered by users. Please verify before sending money.

Data entered by users belongs to the users. The Service's logo, design, and source code belong to the developer.

These terms may be changed without prior notice. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using the Service.

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes related to the Service shall be submitted to the Tokyo District Court as the exclusive court of first instance.

The foregoing exclusive jurisdiction does not apply to the extent mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings before your local courts.
